What better way to wrap up February than with a Sports Day full of energy and friendly competition?

If you’re new to our initiative, our Mobile School program brings together students from Jabik, Jong, Serun, and Padang. This time, we kicked off our Sports Day in Jong, and just like the lively moments captured in these pictures, the event was a huge success!

We also received great feedback from parents, which reinforces our mission. Supporting students' education isn’t just about what happens in the classroom, it is also about building strong relationships with parents to create a more supportive learning environment.

Timber! It’s time to make some space for our chicken coop!

We cut down six oil palm trees, clearing the way and giving the coconut trees more sunlight.

We also got to strengthen our bond with Jaringan Akar farmers and learn how to handle a chainsaw from the mamak-mamak

Overall, it was a productive day of timber-work!

Well, it definitely feels lighter with the support of the villagers! One important tip - the panels must be carefully positioned to face the sun for maximum efficiency!

While they’re waiting for the next step, we’re opening up opportunities for them to grow as leaders. LEAD stands for Leaders Empowered for Advocacy and Development, and it was incredible to see them step into their potential, ready to advocate and make a difference!
