Lana in all her queenly glory before completing her internship
The time I spent in Global Peace Foundation Malaysia, as an intern was a memorable one for me as it was rich in experience sharing and helped me discover my potential. Personally, I didn’t know that I was good at photography as I only had a short amount of time to learn it in college.
However, with the right tutelage and mentorship, I discovered a talent in photography and I’ve learned to enjoy not just taking photos, but also editing the photos I have taken. Having helped with event photography, I realised the importance of having photos as it helps preserve the memories of great moments that have happened.
I have had so many rich experiences and opportunities that I personally believe will forever shape and influence my professional life while fostering personal growth and development. I am very appreciative of this opportunity and forever grateful to Global Peace Foundation for giving the opportunity to not work as an intern only but also to enable me to enhance my interpersonal skills, this I believe characterises my internship experience in GPF.
