  • Our 2025 chapter ends here, but the story continues 🤍
What a year it’s been. A year shaped by real challenges and meaningful progress. Every step brought lessons, and every moment became part of a larger story we’re building together.
As we move into 2026, we remain committed to building alongside our Orang Asli communities, growing, and showing up where it matters.
Thank you to everyone who walked with us, in big and small ways.
Let’s build from here.
Building resilient communities, one village at a time 🤍
#GlobalPeaceFoundationMalaysia
  • Special shout out to our UNITEN volunteers who spent the day on the ground with us learning and practising syntropic farming!
The focus was on hands-on work and understanding how land can be cared for sustainably through proper preparation, pruning, and mulching, and we completed 2 lines and planted 100 forest trees!
The day also created space to build sustainability awareness, seeing how thoughtful land management today supports ecosystems and food systems.
When learning is paired with real work on the land, the lessons stay!
With the theme Hijaukan Bumi, Cerdaskan Generasi, the activities naturally brought the village together through shared learning and fun!
To many more events that promote regenerative farming in the future 💚

  • What a meaningful way to wrap up December, coming together with like minded people to reflect, and exchange ideas!
MIPCE 3, held in Lok Kawi, Sabah, brought together educators, youth, community leaders, and policymakers to discuss the future of indigenous education in Malaysia. The conversations highlighted the importance of mother tongue, cultural identity, and community based pedagogy as essential foundations for education that is inclusive and grounded in lived realities.
It also prompted a deeper reflection for us. How do we ensure that education truly grows from the community itself rather than being imposed from outside? And how do we support learning that strengthens identity while opening pathways for the future?
These reflections have definitely strengthened our confidence as we continue to grow for our Mobile School and Forest School programmes, initiatives that are especially close to our hearts.

  • 2025 passed in the blink of an eye!
Back in early January, we shared a simple resolution to continue focusing on work that creates lasting impact. Clean water was one of them!
Now that it’s December, it feels like the right time to pause and look back at how far that intention and the work itself have come.
In this video, we’re reflecting on our gravity fed water system initiatives across 3 villages in Kuala Lipis, Pahang. From early recce and planning to on the ground work, this is a look behind the scenes and the lessons we learnt along the way. Step into the video and relive the moments with us ❤️
Special shoutout to Sylvia, Uncle Jo & Daniel and all of our volunteers for being part of this journey❤️
So, the next time you come across a gravity fed water system = clean water! built by hand, powered by gravity, and sustained by the community!
Special thanks to @yayasan_hasanah for supporting this initiative!
  • All smiles in Tenlan as we completed the gravity-fed water system, marking our 3rd gravity water project here!
During our initial assessment, we found that the old water intake system was already deteriorating, with parts of the cement structure broken and no longer reliable. That became the starting point for rebuilding a safer, more dependable system for the village!
Huge thanks to our volunteers Jaclyn, Daniel, Dr Hasnul, Alex, and Hedi for being on the ground and supporting this project every step of the way!
Big thank you to @yayasan_hasanah for making this journey possible!

What a meaningful way to wrap up December, coming together with like minded people to reflect, and exchange ideas!

All smiles in Tenlan as we completed the gravity-fed water system, marking our 3rd gravity water project here!

#waterandsanitation #CommunityEmpowerment #Waterforall #OrangAsli #SDG6
