Biography

Born in Malaysia but brought up in a third-culture kid lifestyle. Liyana is a final year student at Monash University Malaysia pursuing a Bachelor of Arts & Social Sciences degree majoring in Global Studies and double minoring in Gender Studies and Communications. She has a natural inclination to explore the humanitarian sector and desires to do work that aids under-developed communities to become equipped with essential resources and to ensure children have access to education. She hopes to one day combine her creative passions with social work and produce visually-engaging content to share various stories.

Her Role: To assist with communications, research, planning, administrative, logistics and coordination in community engagement and development programmes.

Fun Fact: An avid sports fan. Her favourite sports to watch are ice hockey and tennis. She also enjoys playing basketball.
