  • The groundbreaking event in Lumut Village, Negeri Sembilan, marked another important step in our partnership with Nestlé Malaysia under the Safe Water, Safe Communities initiative!
We were honored to welcome Mr. Juan Aranols, Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Malaysia, and Ms. Raja Nurmaria Murni, Executive Director of Corporate Affairs, together with 33 amazing volunteers. We also extend our appreciation to Mr. Fauzi (PKOAD JAKOA Daerah Jelebu), whose presence and support added further encouragement to the community on this important day!
Our collaboration with Nestlé began in 2018 with the introduction of LifeStraw filters and has continued to grow over the years. This project specifically was undertaken to address the community challenge of accessing clean water. The old gravity fed water system had deteriorated and pipelines were damaged, while the storage facilities were no longer sufficient.
Hence, this new gravity-fed water system is designed to provide reliable access to clean water for 30 Temuan households, improving both daily life and health outcomes!
The day combined the water intake construction on the hillside with community activities, including traditional sports, WaSH training, and children’s games.
These moments reflected the spirit of cooperation and the value of cultural exchange, reminding us that safe water brings not only health but also improved well being.

  • When you say YES to giving back, what happens next? Is giving back about what we do, or about how it changes us along the way?
Swipe through to see a glimpse into our volunteers’ journey during their 7 days in Kg. Ulu Semul, where they worked hand in hand with the community to build a gravity-fed water system for 43 families across 35 houses!
Previously, water was only accessible to three clusters, while others still relied on the river as their main source. Our team’s assessment also uncovered damaged pipes leading from the dam, likely caused by wildlife interference, a challenge that this project set out to address.
Today, the gravity-fed water system in Kg. Ulu Semul stands completed, with dam construction, piping installation, and water tank construction all successfully achieved!
A special thanks to @yayasan_hasanah for supporting this initiative and making it possible to bring clean, reliable water to the families of Kg. Ulu Semul!

  • To our Global Peace volunteers thank you for your HARD WORK and most of all for your HEART! ❤️
In the spirit of celebrating our volunteers this week, we’re shining a spotlight on our team of 10 amazing volunteers Jaclyn, Safeer, Batrisyia, Brendon, Zulaika, Hishyam, Jamuel, Norly, Luqman, and Pheona!
A massive thank you also goes to our amazing onsite partners, Sylvia, Jo, Steven, Wan Tong and Hang and of course the wonderful villagers of Kg. Ulu Semul!
Coming from different walks of life, each volunteer brought their own strengths and colours into the project. Undeniably, it has been a challenging journey. Carrying materials across rough terrain to working long days under the sun is no easy task but together, they pushed through with resilience, and teamwork!
It has been an honour to have everyone (YES, YOU) saying YES to the journey and contributing back with your strength, time, and most importantly your heart to see a different layer of perspectives in life and come together in the name of giving back!
This achievement would not have been possible without the incredible partnership and teamwork between EVERYONE!
In just one week, your dedication and effort brought a Gravity-Fed Water System to life!
From all of us at Global Peace, thank you volunteers! ❤️
Till next time!

When you say YES to giving back, what happens next?
Ulu Semul!

A special thanks to @yayasan_hasanah for supporting this initiative and making it possible to bring clean, reliable water to the families of Kg. Ulu Semul!

When you say YES to giving back, what happens next? Is giving back about what we do, or about how it changes us along the way?
Swipe through to see a glimpse into our volunteers’ journey during their 7 days in Kg. Ulu Semul, where they worked hand in hand with the community to build a gravity-fed water system for 43 families across 35 houses!

To our Global Peace volunteers thank you for your HARD WORK and most of all for your HEART!

  • Do you have a cherished memory of school excursions you once joined?
This year, our Forest School excursion takes us to Malacca, a state rich in history and heritage. Over 3 days and 2 nights, our students had the chance to explore and learn through experiences that go beyond the classroom!
Swipe through to see some of the highlights from our journey!
Special thanks to Melilea for supporting this initiative

The groundbreaking event in Lumut Village, Negeri Sembilan, marked another important step in our partnership with Nestlé Malaysia under the Safe Water, Safe Communities initiative!

Ulu Semul!

To our Global Peace volunteers thank you for your HARD WORK and most of all for your HEART!
#ThankYouVounteers #ChangemakersMalaysia
To our Global Peace volunteers thank you for your HARD WORK and most of all for your HEART!
