YOUR ROLES INCLUDE:

  • PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT – cultivate relationships with Global Peace’s potential partners and explore opportunities for collaboration and engagement
  • PARTNERSHIP MANAGEMENT – track the progress and outcomes of projects and assist in preparing reports for Global Peace’s current partners
  • DATA ANALYSIS – maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program data collated for purpose of monitoring and evaluation activities
  • STORY TELLING – assist in curation of impact stories highlighting contributions of our partners for social media content purposes

JOB REQUIREMENT

        • Degree holder with a minimum of 2 years working experience in communications, data analysis, fundraising or business development
        • Skilled in the art of creating persuasive proposals and delivering impactful presentations / reports
        • Must possess a strong command of written and spoken English, and good ability to converse in Bahasa Malaysia
        • Proficiency in usage of Google suite (Google sheet, doc, slides)
        • Has a proven track record in managing multiple project timelines and stakeholders (preferably in a social impact environment / space)
        • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders
        • Able to travel to our beneficiary communities (mostly Pahang)

  • STORY-FINDING – discover and capture inspiring stories from the communities we work with
  • STORYTELLING – present the stories through write-ups, videos and images
  • ADVOCACY – research and develop strategy to advocate on various issues impacting the Orang Asli communities
  • FUNDERS ENGAGEMENT – curate impact stories and develop activities to better engage our funders with the beneficiaries

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Minimal 2 years of experience in PR, communications related work
  • Flair in creative writing, experience in content strategy and story fundamentals (send us your work if you have)
  • Technical – working knowledge of equipments (DSLR camera), image editing, online platform (WordPress, Constant-contact)

Field Officer, Education and Children

We are looking to add a new Field Officer to our team. We’d love to talk to you if you have relevant experience and are serious about making a social impact.

As a nonprofit organisation dedicated to empowering communities, youth and children, we are committed to bring equal opportunities and sustainable development to marginalised Communities.

YOUR DUTIES

PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT | Plan and conduct learning activities based on each project objectives, timeline and budget. 

LEARNING MODULES | Curate and develop new learning modules for children and youth to achieve programme objectives.

TEACHERS COACHING | Develop rapport and engage the community teachers; coach the teachers for more engaging and fun learning.

PROGRESS MONITORING | Monitor and document progress of projects; provide data for reporting purposes. 

SUPPORTING ROLE | Support other programmes when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years of working experience

Willing to relocate to Muadzam Shah, Pahang

Strong verbal and written Bahasa Malaysia proficiency

Fair ability in spoken and written English

Driving license preferred

YOUR DUTIES

PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION | Carry out our community empowerment programme by implementing planned activities based on project timeline.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT | Develop rapport and engage the targeted community to foster participation and cultivate sense of ownership.

MONITORING & EVALUATION | Monitor progress of projects and collect data for outcome evaluation; provide report when needed.

CAPACITY BUILDING | Conduct focus group discussion, trainings, and community consultations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 3 years of working experience

A valid driving license and experience in driving

Able to relocate to our field office in Pahang (Muadzam Shah)

Field Officer, Regenerative Farming

Global Peace implements various impact programmes for the Orang Asli community. One of our major focus is regenerative farming to improve food security and livelihoods of the OA families.

We are looking to add a new Program Officer to our team to support our farming projects. We’d love to talk to you if you have the relevant experiences.

YOUR DUTIES

FARM COACHING | Develop rapport and engage the farmers; coach the farmers and cultivate a sense of ownership.

PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT | Plan and conduct learning activities based on each project objectives, timeline and budget. 

PROGRESS MONITORING | Monitor and document progress of projects; provide data (survey, photo and video) for reporting purposes.

CAPACITY BUILDING | Facilitate focus group discussion and training for the farmers by our partners.
