Biography

An international exchange student from the University of Surrey (UK), Declan contacted GPF to try and reach out and make a genuine difference to peoples’ lives whilst in Malaysia. A focused undergraduate studying International Relations with an interest in current affairs, charity and sports.

Declan has previously worked at other NGO’s such as the Red Cross and British Heart Foundation, as well as conducting research within his degree on why areas within the UK are more deprived than others. Looking into the same issues we, here at GPF, also try to resolve.

His Role: Assisting in areas relating to advocacy, policy and project research as well as communications in regards to publishing articles and managing social media content.

Fun Fact: I love sports, which led me to run the London Marathon at the age of 18.
