An intern here, at the Global Peace Foundation (Malaysia) is an individual who believes in the vision and mission of the organisation and is passionate in uniting humanity as one human family.
The hired intern is to provide support to deliver Global Peace’s overall work plan. The incumbent as a trainee, will be guided and is expected to contribute towards the overall growth of the organisation (directly/indirectly).
The internship provides a holistic-personal and professional learning ground for individuals who are looking for a meaningful engagement and impact-creation by serving communities while growing as a moral and competent social leader.
An intern here, at the Global Peace Foundation (Malaysia) is equivalent as of a full-time employee/team member. You are responsible in the following areas, unless otherwise stated;

❖ Program Support
❖ Communications Support
❖ Information Management
❖ Resource Development
We look for individuals passionate in humanitarian topics and, is self-motivated and proactive. Generally, good language skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
❖ Experience in grassroots youth and community work. Getting to work with different communities and groups of people.
❖ Obtain personal development while gaining a professional experience.
❖ A good balance of in the office and on the ground job.
❖ Interns will be facilitated through an Internship Learning Plan for interns to best benefit from the internship experience.
Generally, the majority of our interns are students pursuing tertiary education. We do however, accept young graduates and people seeking for an opportunity to explore their strengths by working on grassroots peace-building efforts. We also accept talented Masters and PhD students.
